Tutu Dance Company is a certified Child Safe Dance Studio.
At Tutu Dance Company, the safety, well-being, and protection of children and young people are our highest priorities. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and free to express themselves through dance. We have zero tolerance for any form of abuse, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour. Our policies and procedure align with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations to ensure every child in our studio is protected.
● All staff and volunteers hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCCs), Senior First Aid and complete regular child safety training.
● We maintain strict professional boundaries between staff and students, including social media and online communication policies.
● We have clear, confidential reporting processes in place to handle concerns sensitively and appropriately.
● Our teaching practices promote physical, emotional, and psychological safety for all students.
● We actively engage parents and guardians in our child safety approach and welcome open communication.
